So how does Crystal Deodorant work?
It's pretty simple once you understand what makes your sweat smell bad in the first place. You see our sweat itself does not produce a bad smell on its own.
This is why when you first start working out and begin sweating you do not notice that strong/unpleasant B.O. scent even though you're clearly perspiring.
That bad scent that comes later is actually caused by the bacteria on your skin which consumes your sweat, and breaks down its proteins into an acid.
That bad smell is simply put, the waste from the bacteria. (Pretty gross right?)
Crystal Deodorant doesn't do any sort of magic, kill the bacteria or anything like that.
It just simply makes the surface of your skin where it is applied too salty and unpleasant for the bacteria.
You wouldn't want to consume something that is excessively salty would you?
So by making the surface of your skin unpleasant for the bacteria,
the bacteria stops consuming the proteins in your sweat, and therefore stops producing that unpleasant B.O. Smell.
